texture_border_clamp
This extension defines an additional texture clamping algorithm that
clamps texture coordinates at all mipmap levels such that nearest and
linear filters return the color of the border texels.
- Under OpenGL 1.0 clamping, the bilinear texture sample straddles
the border, taking half its color from the border and half from
the texture image.
- It is sometimes desirable for a texture to be clamped to its
border color. This enables billboard textures to be manipulated
easily by setting the texture border alpha to 0 and using decal
texturing.
